NGY 23' introduction video
TOPIC
"There exists no hierarchies or scale for culture, but only diversity and typical features that require to be respected, honored, promoted and preserved."
- Mr. Nguyễn Văn Hùng -
For over a thousand years of construction and evolution, Vietnam has conjured up a rich culture with 54 ethnic groups, allocating all over the S-shaped land. This is the quintessential combination of various legacies handed down for generations: history, geology, customs, religious practices, etc. Currently, Vietnamese culture continues to change and develop according to the trends, the flow of time, and the world.
From the position of a youth-oriented organization, NGUOC always strives to promote diversity among young people and arouse the yearning for discovering their true colors at the same time.

Context
In the modern day and age, many regional governments remain confused about balancing heritage conservation and heritage’s economic exploitation. Consequently, the invasion of modern infrastructure as well as a profit-making mindset influence the cultural heritage in various ways while assisting the development of regional and national economies.
-
Based on your personal experiences, what is the balance between developing an economy and reserving national heritage? In your position, what would you do to reach that balance?
-
Besides complementing personal culture, organizational culture sometimes conflict with personal one. As a seasoned advisor, what advice would you deliver to support youngsters’ empathy toward other conflict cultures and avoid bias?
